Hello! My name is Olia and I’ve recently joined the Developer Relations team at Nexmo!

I was born in Russia, grew up in Spain and for the past 10 years London’s been my home. I originally come from Interactive Design background, but for the past 5 years I’ve been working with APIs and developer communities, which is what I’m very much passionate about.

In the past few years I’ve been involved in over 100 developer community events and hackathons all around the world and have enjoyed getting to know many brilliant and inspirational people. From small uni hackathons to global tech exhibit conferences, it has been a great experience altogether, not to mention seeing some amazing hacks including a Cookie Bot and an SMS controlled coffee machine. (Booth gastronomical references – I am into food..)

At Nexmo I will be making sure we are there to support small community initiatives, hold fun competitions at bigger conferences, help you to build amazing stuff at hackathons and rewarding you with some great swag!

In the near future I will be going to Over the Air in London and Hack the Holidays in Peterborough for some festive hacking. And of course, there’ll be tons more to come next year – hopefully see you soon! 🙂
