Join us at the upcoming All About the API event from July 19-21, 2016 at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. The event will explore tips and trends, case studies and in-depth insight from industry leaders in the API space through intensive hackathons, workshops, keynotes and networking sessions.

We have an action packed schedule, and we’re also giving away free tickets (see below).

Workshop: “How to Voice-Enable Your App with the Nexmo Voice API”
Tuesday, July 19th from 9:00-10:55am
Speaker: Roland Selmer, Product Lead
In this workshop, you’ll learn about the key use cases for voice, including conferencing systems, voice proxy/number masking, call recording, call tracking, IVR (Interactive Voice Response), and more. We’ll then demonstrate how to use the Nexmo Voice REST API to architect, design and build a scalable voice application in a matter of minutes. There will also be time set aside for you to try out the API, ask questions and provide feedback.

Keynote: “Examining the Effectiveness of Globally Scalable Cloud Communications APIs”
Wednesday, July 20 at 10:30am
Speakers: Tony Jamous, President & Co-founder of Nexmo & Alexis Bonillo, COO & Co-founder of Zenly
Communications are evolving at an exponential rate. Learn how cloud communications APIs and SDKs can enable businesses to become more agile and scale faster, by offering effective customer engagement tools, secure user verification processes and phone number intelligence. This session will also highlight the success of a viral real-time location app, Zenly, which increased its global reach by nearly 30% using cloud communications APIs, driving over 1M app downloads at launch. Finally, we will take a look at “what’s next” in cloud communications, and what impact this will have on unified communications, CPaaS, mobility, contextual communications and more.

Panel: “Raising The Bar for SMS: How Cloud Communications APIs are Driving Innovation in Legacy Telco Services”
Wednesday, July 20 from 3:00-3:55pm
Panelists: Tony Jamous, Nexmo; Venky Balasubramanian, Plivo; Christopher Brown, Teli; Chip Wilcox, Temasys Communications
Description: The fragmented mobile carrier ecosystem has created wide-ranging challenges for communications, particularly in messaging. The SMS channel boasts the broadest reach, highest read rate, fastest channel for customer interactions. Some of the most successful companies in nearly all industries have harnessed global messaging to create competitive advantages (Uber in transport, Airbnb in travel, Barclays in alerts, etc.) However, the complex carrier infrastructure was not built to support business critical communications. In this session, learn how API-based cloud communications solutions are helping solve the challenges in SMS, including deliverability, real-time analytics, and routing.

We’ll also be demo’ing a few of our API solutions at our booth (#409), so stop by and grab some swag!
